Family Tree

Just in Thyme double sided paper and stamped embellishments still on the desk from Christmas all came in handy to create this Christmas Tree. The colour theme of the Just in Thyme papers allow the photos to stand out also adding lots of interest in the background. The back side of the tree is blank but it will become the 2008 Christmas. How's that for forward planning? I have used the Kaiser craft Christmas tree.

Merci Love

The Sale-a-bration is here and this card uses one of the stamp sets 'Merci' from the Sale-a-bration brochure which could be yours free. I have finally got out the watercolour paper and pencils and had some fun. Using red and yellow pencils to match the gold and red cardstock.

Merry Christmas

These colours are fresh and crisp and are really 'Merry & Bright". The photo doesn't do it credit however. The circle and ring are from the free Hostess gift set - Riveting. The Christmas tree was punched out of Festive Favourites. Watercolour crayons and a blender pens were used to colour the Christmas tree. The Gable green card can hold a gift card, a photo or a message or an invitation. The snowflakes and rings were stamped with Versamark. Have fun with this one!!

Peaceful Wishes

Peaceful Wishes stamp set has arrived to help out the other Christmas sets that have been so used in so many ways. Sahara sand cardstock is used in the backgrounds and chalked with So Saffron. The leaves are stamped in True Thyme and Certainly Celery and then sponged with True Thyme. Marigold Morning, True Thyme and Vanilla cardstock are used in the layers with Gold organza ribbon backed on Very Vanilla. A little Crystal effects was added to the pine cones. These are colours that I won't normally put together but I like the outcome.

Poinsettia Bauble

Something for the Christmas Tree! A poinsettia is created and attached to a bauble covered in gold glitter. Gold organza ribbon is used to decorate the bauble and to hang from the Christmas tree.

Cardstock: Real Red
Stamp set: Scribble This
Ribbon: Gold organza

Pink Joy

Just a few variations of the Snowflake Spot in Pretty in Pink and Black. This is the way to get lots of cards done without tiring of the same card. All the same materials were on the desk and just put together differently every time.

Christmas Tree

The Holiday Thyme Designer Series double sided paper is on the desk at the moment so it's getting put to good use. While starting to prepare to make this Tree, I saw something similiar to the finished result. This was a lucky find as the project I had set out on would have taken a lot more time and patience and a template created. All of which was not in existence at the time.

The leftover paper from the Christmas Tree just had to be put to some use, so a quick card was the solution.
This Christmas Tree would look great using the blue papers of the Holiday Thyme Designer Series paper also.
Stamp set: Snow Flurries, All Year Cheer I
Cardstock: Cranberry crisp, Old Olive, Vanilla

Spinning Snowflake

The snowflake on the circle can be twisted around a few times before closing the card and putting it into the enevelope, so that when the card is opened it will spin around.

This card has been fun to make and really not too tricky to get the circles cut out in the right places. I was requested to do this card again in The Lavender Lace cardstock and the Snow Flurries.

Other variations are on the slide show. Take a peek!

Cardstock: Lavender Lace, Whisper White
Ink: Craft Whisper White, Versamark, Black, Lavender Lace
Stamp Set: Snow Flurries, Festive Favourites

All Boxed up - Just in Thyme

This neat little explosion box uses the Holiday Thyme Designer Series paper. A paper bow was added to the top. Both box and bow are fun to make and fun to receive!
This truly looks like something 'bought' rather than created.

Christmas treats

Have a little fun with this treat pouch and insert some candy cane and any other goodies. A small gift card can fit inside as well. The gift card has slits on the interior to hold a gift voucher too. Nice and easy and fun in any colour scheme.
