Kraft Box - can you see it?

@1990-2012 Stampin' Up! Ruth Massey

I was approached by Stampin' Up! to man a table of my choice in the Product Playground at the Heartfelt Event in Brisbane.  I chose the Heat Tool table which was a wonderful choice as it was shared with two other lovely ladies.  And together we created display items and helped demonstrators use the new heat tool and embossing powders for hours on end.

Our requested display stamp set was Scentsational Season, Be of Good Cheer DSP and also the Sugar and Spice scented embossing powder. The beautiful frame was created by Tui.  I used a Kraft box to form the base of the Ginger bread house and it was also able to store candy canes and other lollies, etc.  The roof of the gingerbread house was heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I hope you like it even though the photo is not a close up of the gingerbread house.

Christmas Tree

Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler Cardstock and Designer Series Paper Letters to Santa were used to create Christmas gifts to place under the Christmas Tree.  The Christmas Tree is by Twiddleybitz.  Stampin' Up! rhinestones were added for bling.  The pot of the Christmas Tree is designed to display photos.  Dazzling Diamonds glitter highlights the tips of the Christmas Tree but is hard to see in the photo.

Christmas Canvas

This took abit of time gold embossing stamped images, sponging and embossing cardstock then attaching the pieces in some kind of order on the canvas.  But I'd do it all again.  I used a combination of Stampin' Up! Christmas stamp sets - Dasher, Season of Joy, Tree trimmings, as well as the Mocha Morning, Letters to Santa and Timeless Portrait Designer Series Paper.

Card Kit

" Christmas in a tin"
The Santa from the Designer Series Paper Letters to Santa fitted just right on the front of this DVD tin containing gift tags and Christmas cards.  The tin can easily be used for a Christmas gift after the cards have been sent and tags used.
Here's the inside, lined and fitted with two inserts to hold the Christmas tags and Christmas cards.  The stamp set Merry and Type was stamped with Early Espresso and coloured with Stampin' Write markers after embossing the front half of the card.  Cherry Cobbler seam binding was attached to the side front.

The new Bigz Die Two Tags created the tags, making Christmas gift giving quick and easy.

Designer wear

The Designer Series Paper Mocha Morning could only be the 'fabric' of choice for this outfit. The hat has been created from the Designer Fabric Timeless Portrait die cut using the Bigz L die Fun Flowers.    The black pattern on the designer series paper is black flocking which gives texture to the skirt. I enjoyed creating the outfit though it evolved as each piece was attached.  Kraft seam binding, Black Satin ribbon and Very Vanilla grosgrain created trims and ruffles on the dress.

Inspired by the marlequin, I created a small box of gift cards below, using the Established Elegance Stamp set.  It's a vintage stamp set with endless possbilities for creations.

Concord crush flutter love card

Well this worked! I have just tried a new way of uploading and it worked! I hope the brilliant deep purple blue of Concord crush has been reproduced adequately in this photo!

I created my own heart template after stamping and coloring the image. The Lattice embossing template was used on the background Concord Crush paper. Ribbon - Old Olive satin and my favorite Stampin Up! Have been added, along with some pearls.

Enjoy!

Mini Album

This little mini album is about 3 inches square and lots of fun to make. Once you have done you will want to do more. It makes a lovely gift when boxed up. Great for photos or just messages. Add tags inside for added interest. Here I have used the Love Letter DSP adding flowers punched from Cherry Cobler cardstock and Hodge podge hardware. The stamp set is Elements of Style all by Stampin' Up!

Aviary again

Marina Mist is great fresh colour so I have highlighted the card with grosgrain ribbon on the neutral Kraft background. Very Vanilla cardstock was textured with the Lattice embossing folder run through the Big Shot. The Aviary birdcages were stamped with Early Espresso and Crumb Cake ink. The wording from Style Beautiful stamp set was stamped with Early Espresso onto a tag from Sizzlits Lots of Tags Level 3 set.
