Wondrous Wreath

Along with the matching framelits, I have used this stamp set so many times and always love the result. I've used Real Red cardstock and ink as well as Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz ink. The Joy is cut using the Framelits set, wonderful Wreath, and Champagne glimmer Paper. It's Stampjn' Up! © the Wondrous Wreath stamp set.

Traveller

This card was part of a set created using the images from the Traveller stamp set. The World Map is a digital image adjusted in MDS and printed so as to create a landscape card.

Blended Bloom

No prizes for guessing which stamp sets and Designer Series Paper is on my desk .  The diagonal striped paper from Typeset series works effectively in small quantities to add interest.

Wisteria Wonder Blendabilities were used to colour the flower with Daffodil Delight Blendabilities for centre.

Blended Bloom and Blendabilities

These are some of the cards created in our first Blendabilities class. Using just the Daffodil Delight and Coastal Cabanna Blendabilities sets. A Vintage button was coloured with the Bllendabilities to match the centre of the bloom.

Joyful Christmas one last time

I really enjoy using this stamp set - Joyful Christmas from last years Holiday catalogue but it's time for a new Holiday catalogue. So the Carryover items are only available until 27 August. Take a look on my website before it's too late.

I coloured the flower using the Cherry Cobbler and Daffodil Delight Blendabilities. The Party Pennants Bigz L die is living in my Big Shot also, so useful.

Cancer Fundraiser creations

Here are the cards the ladies got to create on the night of the fundraiser. It was amazing how well everyone worked on their cards.  Thanks for the help along the way, sharing your knowledge to others who were creating for the very first time.  That's what it's all about!

Shop online by 16 May using the Hostess Code 67M2WJD4 at the Shopping Bag and you will also be contributing to the funds raised.

Flower Shop

Well it's been awhile since a post, mainly because my keyword won't talk to my computer nor my mouse, unsociable really!  The ladies at a recent fundraiser made this card.  The cards were all in blues, white and grey with a touch of pink being Blushing Bride.  Just had to add the bicycle to the finished card to give a vintage appear.  The night was a success for fundraising team and Cancer Council.  Thank you to Stampin' Up! for continuing to support such events.

Shop Around Vintage style card

Yep I'm attempting a challenge.  The images are from the Shop Around jumbo wheel from Stampin' Up!  I've punched out different parts of the images and distressed the edges.  The ink is Baked Brown Sugar, but I highlighted the image of the lady.  I stained the White Tea Lace doily to give a vintage look.  The roses are cut out of felt using the Spiral Flower die.  The base card is Naturals Ivory cardstock.  Accessorised with pearls and Linen Thread.

Enjoy!

Tag a Bag and Simple Stems

A Tag a Bag Gift bag was decorated for this Simple Stems collection of cards.  Predominately the cards are stamped with the flower from Simple Stems using inkpads: Island Indigo, Old Olive and Crushed Curry.  I wanted to reproduce a colour system I had seen in a shop over the last few days - yellow, blue and green in fresh colours. I used a black marker to highlight the stamen in each flower.  Framelits - Banner and Window Collection were used.

So Very Grateful

So happy how this card evolved from a few homeless pieces on my table.  The main stamp set used is So Very Grateful:

I used Pool Party and Crumb Cake Ink for the base of the card as they are soft colours.  I stamped half the card with the background stamp En Francis and also Gorgeous Grunge stamp set onto Very Vanilla cardstock.   Baked Brown sugar ink was used to stamp the So Very Grateful stamp on the Pool party and Very Vanilla cardstock and then punched out using the Decorative label punch.  A little Linen thread and large pearl also added interest to finish.

Eggstra Spectacular Fun

Easter is so fast approaching and the school holidays will start and lots of public holidays!  Just need good weather for everyone to enjoy.

I've used the Eggstra Spectacular stamp set on small tags attached to the Easter baskets which are really cute.  This time I've made a card using the In colors markers and card stock punched out using the Petite Petals punch.  The bunny's tail is fluffy and white using the Chalk marker.  Also from the Occasions catalogue is the Banner framelits and Silver Twine.

Burlap and felt roses

Where is the lid to this jar that I need to return to it's owner???  Still not found so I returned it in this form instead.  Being such an interesting shaped jar and all.

The roses are red felt from the craft store which I rolled through the Big Shot using the Spiral Flower die.  For the smaller roses I cut the spiral flower in half and then assembled two smaller flowers instead.  It was such fun and effective.  Wrapped the Burlap around the top of the jar and also Gold Twine to finish it off.

Spiral Flower Die again

This was a gift for a friend on her birthday.  Just so that she got everlasting roses on her desk at work.  Here I added a little bling..  Enjoy!!

Easter Basket Large

This Easter Basket is larger than the previous one and uses one piece of 12" x 12" cardstock with the help of the Envelope Punch Board and the Spiral Flower Die.  Love the Stampin' Up! Burlap and the Washi tape to create leaves.

Spiral Flower Die

I have had a ball using the Stampin' Up! © Spiral Flower die in my Big Shot.  It has had a good time cutting out a few different materials, to name a few, felt, organza, paper, cardstock and a metal shim.

With Easter coming and flowers adding to the feel of the season I have used the Envelope Punch Board along with the Flower Spiral Die to create a Easter Basket.

To give the effect of a picnic basket I have added 2 handles.  The handles are attached by a brad so that you can swing them and get into the eggs inside the basket!!  Yum!

Petite Petals

This was my first creation with all the new Occasions Catalogue products and the Sale-a-bration free twine.  The twine inspired the colour scheme of the flowers being Pool Party and Crisp Cantaloupe.  I likely stamped the background in these colours too, after a light stamping of Crumb Cake using the En Francois background stamp. Loving the new wooden Elements also.  The Scalloped tag punch is so versatile.

Mojo Monday

Well let's give this one ago.  I haven't done this before, but feel free to join in and try your hand at a card using this layout.  I think it'll work great with the Starburst Framelits Dies. I'll get back to you with the result.

Here's the outcome:

I've used the new Starburst Framelits to duplicate the circles in the image. The On Film Framelit die provided the large embossed frame.  The base card is the brilliant Crushed Curry cardstock with Modern Medley DSP.  Topped with a punched out Petite Petals flower on Gold Bakers Twine
, with a touch of Gold sequin.

The Open Sea

A male card is always so handy in your collection, so out comes The Open Sea stamp set.  Stamp the journal on Crumb Cake and and have fun ageing it.  The wooden embellishment delivers the Happy birthday greeting.  The base card is Baked Brown sugar.
